Private View de Elephanté

With my retractable HB at my side, life is complete.
From a series of drawings looking at
illustration as an 'ambiguous communication'. An ongoing inquest...
To cut a long story short, these are two drawings that are part of a long line of rambling thoughts and eclectic images following a fixation with Cy Twombly.

FortyFive
A little taste of FortyFive's Elephanté exhibition which recently took the South West by storm...
Here we have a selection of drawings, etchings, watercolours and screenprints inspired by some of my loves! British birds, Lou Reed(er), curious facial features, Herbert, as ever Mr Wyeth himself and of course a touch of poetry.
They developed from some designs I did for cupcakes for poet Sally Crabtree, for our recent collaboration 'Word M'art'.
